A charitable gift annuity offers you many personal benefits, including the opportunity to support a cause you care about.
How does it work?
You enter an agreement with Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission to transfer assets in return for receiving fixed payments for the rest of your life. Your gift annuity rate is largely determined by your age at the time the annuity is created.
You are entitled to an income tax deduction in the year your gift is made because a portion of the gift will be used for charitable purposes. At the end of your life, the remaining portion of your annuity will become available for the mission to use for general purposes.
