My Night in a Box
Is your church looking for creative and practical ways to teach and lead students to make a difference? My Night in a Box is an overnight discipleship experience for local church student ministries to teach, engage, and motivate each other to get involved with their local rescue ministry while hosting a simple fund raiser for their local rescue mission.
The model is simple. Each student recruits ten sponsors at $10 to sponsor their night in a box. On Friday evening, the group heads to the city to serve a meal at Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission. After returning to the church, they receive biblical teaching, spend the night outdoors in a box, scavenger hunt for supper, and do a Saturday park cleanup and prayer walk.
