Current Needs

Would you like to help us meet the basic needs of the poor in Philadelphia? Please consider if you might be able to donate any of the items below. Most of the things on this list are used regularly, so we are constantly in need of new supply.

Whenever a man comes to Mission for the first time, the chaplains put together a package of basic necessities. This includes a pair of socks, shorts, undershirt, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, razor and shaving cream. We generally hand out between 100-150 toiletry packages each month.

We use around 200 mini-bars of soap for showers each day. The travel size from hotels are perfect. Why not put out a box and collect them from travelers at your church or office?
